West London DIY hip-hop collective NiNE8 have released their sophomore album NO SMOKE VOL.2. The collective is made up of some talented beat-makers, singers and rappers, including Biig Piig, Lava La Ru, and more. 'GROWN' is the 3rd song on their new album, featuring a stoner-slow beat and some broad, house-esque synth pads. Spine-tinglingly intimate, Biig Piig's vocals swap from singing the melodic hook, to spoken word. Nayana IZ adds a soulful and rhythmic vocal verse which makes for an interesting counterpoint from the previous rap verse. 'GROWN' is a standout track on the album, breezy and easy on the ears. -Ellie Rose-Davies
